Woman drowned at Pasig River
A body of a 44-year-old woman was found floating at Pasig River yesterday along Binondo, Manila.
The National Bureau of Investigation identified the victim as Emma Gayo de Adin, a resident of Pasay City. Officials found NBI clearance registered to the said name with her photograph.
The body of de Adin was seen by Gretchen del Mundo while picking plastics along Pasig River.
Del Mundo reportedly noticed a female body floating and pulled it towards the river bank at around 5:30 a.m.
Del Mundo called the assistance of the Philippine Coast Guard, through PO2 Dominador Salvador, who immediately reported the incident to the Manila Police District.
Police investigation found no suspects in particular and no signs of any external physical injuries. Maanne Lopez
