Police nabs chocolate robber

A thief was arrested Tuesday after shoplifting Hershey’s Chocolates at Ever-Gotesco Department store, Claro M. Recto Avenue, Quiapo, Manila.

Police Station 3 officials recovered P310 worth of chocolates from Gregg Marienzo, 40, a resident of 2056 Makata St. Sta. Cruz, Manila.

A report from the Manila Police District (MPD) said that store employee Hilano Cabrera called the police immediately upon noticing the suspect’s act.

The case was referred to MPD Homicide Section for proper disposition. Maanne Lopez
